Pro-Life Pioneer Mildred Jefferson Dies

(BP)–Mildred Jefferson, a founder of the National Right to Life Committee and the first black woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School, died Oct. 15 in Cambridge, Mass. She was 84. “The right-to-life movement has lost a champion and a pioneer.
